Welcome to Texting While Driving Snitch Program©

I am a professional driver and I see many people texting behind the wheel on a daily basis. In fact, an 18-year-old girl without a license or insurance recently rammed into my car while she was texting at a gas station. Texting While Driving Snitch Program, is a technology community program, it was established to create awareness and discussions about such issues. However, increased dialogues alone won't suffice unless stricter penalties are imposed.
According to research by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, texting while driving makes the risk of a crash 23 times more likely. Taking further note, it becomes crystal clear that sterner actions are needed. Permanent suspension of licenses, hefty fines, and the threat of insurance terminations for unsafe practices can act as deterrents.
The potential risk of losing driving privileges can jolt the reality into casual, reckless drivers. Hence, this service urges the local government and driving enforcement agencies to impose stricter penalties on texting while driving. Help make our roads safer.

How Program Works

In an increasingly digital world, distracted driving due to texting has become a significant public safety issue. Annually around 390,000 injuries occur in the United States due to texting while driving, taking a toll on numerous lives and causing damaging economic impact ("National Safety Council Report"). For this reason, we urge our local authorities to implement camera technology on vehicles or on major intersections to monitor and deter texting while driving.
This proposed camera technology will be designed to trigger when it detects a motorist engaging in this dangerous activity. To bolster this initiative and enhance job creation, we suggest the employment of roadside workers who will assist in capturing images of individuals caught texting while driving, along with their vehicle license plates. This information can then be forwarded to the local Department of Motor Vehicles or respective insurance companies for necessary action.
This implementation not only brings awareness to the issue of distracted driving but also serves as an efficient preventative measure to reduce accidences, ultimately saving lives. We encourage all concerned citizens, law enforcement agencies, and legislatures to support this initiative to reduce texting while driving. It's time to make our roads safer for everyone.

Job Creative On U.S. Highways

Distracted driving is a leading cause of highway accidents in the U.S., with around 1.6 million accidents each year due to cell phone use while driving (source: National Safety Council). There is a need for innovative and hands-on approaches to combat these alarming statistics. We propose the installation of roadside worker observers on every major intersection in the U.S. Their job will be to document instances of texting and driving by capturing images of the drivers and their license plates. This visual evidence can be an effective deterrent to such dangerous behavior, ensuring roads' safety and preventing avoidable accidents. Help us make our highways safer and save lives by reinforcing a strong message against texting while driving. Please help support the implementation of roadside worker observers across the country.

The Benefits of Texting While Driving Snitch (CAM) Program

Motorists who text while driving pose a risk not only to themselves but also to other motorists, pedestrians, and roadside workers. In the United States in 2018, distracted driving killed 2,841 people (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration). We propose an observational methodology to catch such drivers in the act. Cameras mounted beside highways would capture photos of drivers who exhibit distracted behaviors such as texting.
Upon capturing such instances, the drivers would face penalties including, but not limited to, an initial fine of $125, an increment of $50 for each subsequent offense, and a potential risk of license loss or ineligibility for insurance. An additional fee of $5 would be levied to support roadside workers and maintenance of the camera technology vehicles. These severe penalties would likely discourage motorists from endangering lives due to distractions like texting.
We address this texting while driving snitch program to the concerned authorities and ask for the implementation of these measures as a step towards safer roads.

Keep The Roads Safe While Keeping Uninsured & Non License Drivers Off The Road

Texting and driving is a dangerous act not only to the driver but also to other road users. While authorities have tried to enforce laws to deter this lethal activity, it seems not to be enough, since many people are still getting involved in accidents due to texting while driving. This alarming situation requires an immediate remedy, which involves stricter penalties. We propose that individuals caught texting while driving without a valid license or insurance should be taken into custody and serve a minimum of thirty days in jail with an indefeasible fine of $500. These stringent measures will dissuade drivers from engaging in such risky behavior. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, distracted driving accounts for approximately 25% of all motor vehicle crash fatalities; of which, texting while driving is considered one of the most alarming distractions. Implementing this law will keep our roads safer by reducing the risk of texting while driving, and we hope that it will also discourage unlicensed and uninsured motorists from driving.

Texting While Driving Snitch is an program that will help end motorists that like to text while driving or have there phones in their hands while they are operating a vehicle.
While law enforcement can't catch each motorist as they are texting while driving this simple snitch  Technology Program can be the eyes for law enforcement, insurance companies and it can also be the reason to end so many text while driving accidents and saves lives.
This program will work by installing motion detection cam devices on main intersections that would detect any phone that is in the hands of a motorist that is behind the steering wheel of a vehicle. Once the camera takes the picture it will then be downloaded then send to either the local police department, Department of Motor Vehicle or Insurance Company which will be sent to the individual with either a warning or fine amount depending on the risk and occurance.

For each motorist that the device snitch on a $3.00 fee is added to the photo plus city/state fines and sent to the motorist for immediately payment. The device fee goes up each time the same person had an occurance.
